Optimal distributed generation allocation in distribution system for power loss minimization and voltage stability improvement

Voltage instability and power loss are significant problems in distribution Systems (DS). However, these usually mitigated by the optimal integration of distributed generation (DG) units DN. In this regard, location size DGs crucial. Otherwise, System performance will deteriorate. This study is conducted to place radial DS. Mayfly Algorithm (MA) used determine placement minimize loss, increase voltage stability The simulation results showed a reduction percentage 69.14% for three PV-type DG unit integration. corresponding 98.09 % WT-type installing test System. Similarly, minimum bus improves 0.959 per PV type VSI after allocation increases 0.989 WT units. Comparative studies have been conducted, shown effectiveness proposed method reducing improving algorithm evaluated IEEE-69 DS using MATLAB.
